  my partner and i drove from Sydney to this hotel for the weekend. beautiful reception, the deco is luxurious and sophisticated and very relaxing but enticing music playlist. Though the room was nicely setup, they are quite small and not enough space to move around. the view from the room of the blue mountain terrain was to die for. i don't know how some people could not find the hotel reception when it clearly states which building is which in bold. I would definitely recommend this place and my partner and i will definitely go back

  The venue is rich with heritage and history and the adea is spectacular.

  An excellent high tea, with a beautiful view and attentive staff. The sandwiches and cakes were delicous. My only suggestion is to add gluten free scones to the gluten free high tea. I have been to other high teas that have served gluten free scones, and when they are relatively simple to make, for the Hydro not to have them is a bit disappointing.

  Really nice venue its beginning to get a bit dated but that adds to the charm of an older style of heritage building.

  You will go back in time in this over 100 years old 4 star hotel. The view from certain rooms and places are breathtaking. Nearly every part in the hotel is in a different style, just marveling. The prices of about 250 AUD for a room is on the top of the range in the area of Sydney.

  Very comfortable (but small) room. It is quite difficult to find reception so i entered the restaurant by mistake. The young staff member on duty was obviously frustrated at repeated hotel arrivals entering in the wrong place and was quite short with me in poor English. Heads turned toward us. Not the best start to my visit. However the young man at check in and young woman on check out were faultless. I might only suggest an arrow sign indicating reception outside?

  We were there for a wedding and the views that were overlooking the national park were spectacular. The food at the reception was also probably the best wedding food I've had at a reception thus far and would recommend it to everyone.
